ALAYNA FALLING AUTUMN

It’s really fantastic to see the trend of well-known producers supporting unknown or upcoming talent, with recent examples being Maths Time Joy and Flores or Lex Low and jackLNDN. Someone who has made quite a habit of collaborating with the freshest talent is Astronomyy, who most notably made a remix of Billie Eilish’s homerun debut ‘Ocean Eyes’ and now the British producer has put his skills to ‘Falling Autumn’, the first single from songwriter and vocalist alayna. Following her passion for music from New Zealand to the creative hub of Brooklyn, Alayna Powley found that moving to and existing within a big city can be trialling, as many city-dwellers have felt at one time or another. However, rather than breaking under the pressure, the 23-year-old artist found peace in her music and thus arrived ‘Falling Autumn’. As alayna conveys, her debut song “is about finding the stillness and comfort in someone else, it's about connecting with someone on a deeper level and being confident in what you want, crave and feel.” Entirely relatable with a flawless delivery and tranquil R&B vibes, ‘Falling Autumn’ is a stunning first listen. - HT
